Heaters

Substages for heating expirements

Heating Modul 1500°C

  • Stage add-on (module) for heating experiments (room temperature up to 1500° C), designed for working “variable pressure” as well as high vacuum conditions.
  • Designed for long term heating experiments due to a motorized, water-cooled “lid”.
  • Large specimen area (10x10x2mm³). Other specimen geometry can be supported on request.
  • Optional: EBSD-compatibility

Heating Modul 1050°C

  • Stage add-on (module) for heating experiments (room temperature up to 1050° C), designed for working “variable pressure” as well as high vacuum conditions.
  • Designed for long term heating experiments due to a motorized, water-cooled “lid”.
  • Large specimen area (10x10x2 mm³). Other specimen geometry can be supported on request
  • Optional: EBSD-compatibility

Heating Modul 800 °C

  • For observing small specimens at high temperatures in the scanning electron microscope.
  • Specimen freely accessible from above.
  • Lowest heat transfer to stage mechanics due to multilayer reflective insulating layer (shielding).
  • Specimen holder in various shapes > flat or trough-shaped.
  • Including vacuum flange and mounting mechanism for the SEM specimen chamber.

Heating Modul 300°C/500°C

  • For observation of specimens in the scanning electron microscope up to a size of approx. Ø 30 mm at temperatures from room temperature to 300°C/500°C.
  • Unlike many other heaters, this specimen stage attachment can also be heated to full temperature in air.
  • Specimen holder in various shapes > flat or trough-shaped.
  • Including vacuum flange and mounting mechanism for the SEM specimen chamber.

Heating Modul 1050 °C

  • Table top for heating experiments (room temperature up to 1050° C), among other things for working in SEMs with “variable pressure”.
  • Allows heating experiments under corrosive or humid residual atmosphere.
  • Option: Needle valve on vacuum flange allows finely controlled supply of gas or water vapor into the actual heating chamber during the heating process.
  • Specimen holding in various shapes > flat or trough-shaped.
